President - Cindy Scarpa

Cindy's interest in drafting has been sulky cart driving with her Great Dane, Gus right from the start. Cindy and Gus attended the New England Drafting Adventure Workshop in May 2001 and Mushing Boot Camp Pull Clinic in September 2002. Cindy and Gus have been enjoying sulky cart driving since June 2002 when she purchased her City Mini sulky cart, pictured in the NEDDC logo. Cindy is the founding President of the New England Drafting & Driving Club, an executive board member of the Great Dane Club of Oxford, Inc. (CT), member of the Great Dane Club of America, Inc., and a member of the St. Hubert Kennel Club, Inc. Cindy can be found most weekends beside the Great Dane conformation ring, obedience ring or doing what she likes best of all, sulky cart driving with Gus. Cindy is now working on training Max, the grand nephew of Gus to sulky cart with hopes of team driving Max and Gus.

Director - Michele LaBagh

Michele LaBagh is from Middletown, NY. She is a member of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and a member, Treasure & Director of Training & Education for the Monticello NY Kennel Club. She has been working with dogs for over 25 years. Michele is a certified professional dog trainer, running classes in Obedience, Agility, Rally-O and Conformation Handling. She has trained several BMD as Services Dogs for the handicapped. She is an AKC certified CGC Evaluator, Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog Evaluator and a Therapy Dog International Evaluator. Michele's Berners hold titles in these various sports as well as drafting titles in Novice and Open Draft and Brace Open Draft.
